Store Manager

Doughnut Plant is looking for a hands-on Store Manager to lead one of our iconic NYC retail locations.

For over thirty years, Doughnut Plant has been the leader in the world of gourmet doughnuts. In fact, chefs across the United States often recognize Doughnut Plant as the innovation and taste leader in the world of gourmet doughnuts. We’re looking for an individual to lead our retail team with that same commitment to excellence.

Every year, we serve millions of doughnuts. We deliver fresh doughnuts to each of our locations 3 to 5 times everyday. Our menu includes 20 to 25 different flavors served daily and our doughnut library is in the hundreds. Our standards remain the same: the highest quality doughnuts utilizing all natural ingredients made with the greatest care to preserve consistency and originality.

A few years ago, Doughnut Plant attracted additional executive leadership, and the company has experienced record growth. 2025 was the strongest year in the company’s history in both sales and earnings. We continue to expand throughout New York City while planning additional locations in other major urban markets.

Our retail team is on the front lines. We expect them to hand off our doughnuts with the same care and attention to detail that goes into making them. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone passionate about hospitality, coffee, team development, and creating memorable guest experiences. We believe that our team and our doughnuts have the potential to turn someone’s day around and we value the power that holds.

• Lead from the front while holding yourself and the team accountable to high standards and yourself to even higher ones
• Lead a gourmet retail and hospitality experience built on professionalism, customer service and teamwork
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, health, and labor regulations
• Manage labor, scheduling, inventory, ordering, and daily operations
• Solve problems fast, take ownership, and push the business and brand forward every single day
• Maintain Doughnut Plant standards for product quality, presentation, and execution
• Handle guest concerns professionally and resolve issues quickly and effectively
• Oversee cash handling, daily reporting, and operational accountability

• You have 2+ years restaurant, café, bakery, or hospitality leadership experience
• You have a strong hospitality mindset and a commitment to creating an exceptional guest experience
• You are obsessed with hospitality, quality, consistency, and execution
• You have strong leadership, communication and problem solving skills
• You have experience with scheduling, inventory systems, labor management, and POS systems
• You want ownership, responsibility, growth, and the opportunity to have an impact
