Role Overview

The Senior Creator Executive leads the management and delivery of influencer campaigns across clients, working with micro to mid-level influencers. You’ll oversee creator discovery, onboarding, content reviews, logistics, and campaign reporting, ensuring the highest standard of execution.

This role also includes mentoring and supporting junior team members, maintaining strong influencer relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to optimise campaign performance. You’ll combine influencer marketing expertise with leadership skills to deliver results that exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the discovery and outreach of micro to mid-tier influencers in line with client strategy.

  • Oversee onboarding, ensuring influencers fully understand campaign requirements and guidelines.

  • Manage content reviews and approvals, ensuring brand alignment and ASA compliance.

  • Lead logistics for product send-outs and other campaign materials.

  • Negotiate with influencers to secure cost-effective agreements without compromising quality.

  • Monitor campaign dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and KPI tracking.

  • Optimise campaigns through collaboration with internal teams and proactive issue resolution.

  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, ensuring quality output and professional development.

  • Conduct weekly spot checks to maintain high delivery standards.

Influencer Discovery & Outreach

Quality of influencer discovery and alignment to brand and strategy.

Timeliness of discovery (i.e. quick)

Quality of outreach communications and strong influencer sign-up rate for campaigns.

Overseeing junior team members and training them on quality of discovery and outreach communications.

Quality Control & Monitoring

Review influencer content and creator lists, ensuring it meets client standards for quality, accuracy, and campaign goals.

Provide guidance to team on how to achieve the best quality in each stage of the influencer cycle.

Monitor campaign targets and performance, ensuring influencer delivery is on time and within agreed parameters.

Negotiations & Contracting

Lead negotiations with mid-level influencers, ensuring cost-effective deals without compromising quality.

Provide guidance to Creator Executives (CE) on micro-tier negotiations and contracting/ redlines, serving as a support and sounding board.

Campaign Management & Reporting

Manage campaign dashboards, ensuring accurate data entry, monitoring progress, and conducting spot checks for quality assurance.

Collaborate with internal teams (strategy, data, client services) to optimise influencer campaign strategies and troubleshoot any issues.

Talent Relationship Building

Build and maintain proactive relationships with talent managers and/ or creators to secure premium creators for campaigns.

Provide support in logistics and fulfilment, ensuring product send-outs and campaign materials are delivered on time.

Industry Knowledge & Best Practices

Stay updated on social media trends, platforms, influencer landscape, and ASA guidelines, ensuring Buttermilk’s influencer strategies remain cutting-edge.

Share industry insights with internal teams to continuously improve campaign performance.

Owning and Sharing Client-Facing Materials
Ensure client-facing documents (campaign slides, status decks, sample lists) are accurate, structured, and error-free.

Curate influencer sample lists with precise performance data, strong brand alignment, and diverse selections.

Deliver clear, confident, and professional client presentations that build trust and communicate insights effectively.

Maintain high-quality standards in all client documents, minimising revisions and ensuring strategic clarity.

Continuously refine document processes, implementing best practices for efficiency and consistency.

Success Metrics

  • Achievement of discovery, sign-up, and campaign launch targets.

  • Strong influencer engagement metrics including response, live, and earned content rates.

  • Cost savings achieved through effective negotiation.

  • Timely, high-standard delivery of campaign deliverables.

  • Positive feedback from clients, influencers, and internal teams.

  • Demonstrated improvement in junior team member performance through mentorship.

Required Experience & Skills

  • 2+ years in project management and influencer marketing, ideally in an agency setting.

  • Proven track record managing micro to mid-tier influencers and delivering high-quality campaigns.

  • Strong negotiation skills and experience overseeing contracts.

  • Expertise in influencer marketing platforms, trends, and compliance standards.

  • Experience managing both paid and gifting campaigns (preferred).

  • Experience working with beauty brands such as L’Oreal (preferred).

  • Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
