Registered Nurse,

This Registered Nurse (RN) position in an Emergency Room (ER) setting requires providing skilled nursing care to patients in a fast-paced environment. The RN will perform patient assessments, administer medications, participate in treatment planning, and collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team. A minimum of two years of experience is required.

Responsibilities:

- Performing patient assessments and providing skilled nursing care.
- Administering medications and treatments as ordered.
- Developing and implementing treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Collaborating effectively with physicians, other nurses, and support staff.
- Responding to emergency situations in a calm and efficient manner.
- Educating patients and their families about their care.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives.
- Adhering to all hospital policies and procedures.

Required Skills & Certifications:

- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York.
- Minimum of two years of experience in hospital, home health, or hospice care (preferred).
- Clinical assessment, medication administration, and treatment planning skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Current BLS certification.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Experience in emergency or critical care environments.
- Proficiency with vents, trachs, and PICC lines.

Special Considerations:

- 3x12-hour day/night rotation.
- Every other weekend and every other holiday required.
- First-time traveler nurses are accepted.
- Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility.
- ER setting.

Scheduling:

- 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, rotating days and nights.
- Every other weekend and holiday rotation.
