LPN - Long Term Care
LPN - Long Term Care - Pay Rate: $37.00 per hour - Evening Shift
WorkFit Medical Staffing is seeking compassionate and experienced Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide quality care in long-term care facilities. Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) to promote comfort and safety.
- Monitor residents' health status and document changes accurately in patient records.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement effective care plans.
- Maintain compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
- Provide emotional support and education to residents and their families.
Requirements
- Valid NY State LPN license in good standing.
- Minimum one year of experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
