Schenectady, NY Medical Alert Device Installer/Technician

As a Medical Alert Device Installer/Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients receive reliable and expertly installed alert systems that contribute to their safety and well-being. Responsibilities
- Install and configure medical alert devices and Personal Emergency Response Systems (PERS) at client locations with precision and care.
- Perform system testing and verify functionality to ensure devices are operating optimally.
- Educate clients and their families on device usage, features, and maintenance procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation and follow-up visits promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, service calls, and client interactions using company software.
- Collaborate with customer service and technical teams to provide seamless support to users.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and company policies during installations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in device installation, technical support, or a related field, preferably in health care technology.
- Strong understanding of medical alert systems, PERS devices, and associated technologies.
- Exceptional communication skills to clearly instruct clients and address their concerns with patience and professionalism.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a variety of client environments.
- Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle to travel to client locations.
- Basic computer proficiency including experience with installation and service documentation software.

- 0-25 miles = $25
- 25.1-40 miles = $40
- 40.1-75 miles = $60
- 75.1+ miles = $75
