GRC Tech Lead

ROLE OVERVIEW:

A leading organization is seeking a GRC Tech Lead for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role will focus on leading governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) technology initiatives, with a strong emphasis on the AuditBoard platform.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in audit technology platforms, SOX compliance, and cross-functional collaboration to drive process improvements and strengthen overall risk and compliance posture.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead configuration, customization, and administration of the AuditBoard platform, including SOXHUB, OpsAudit, and RiskOversight modules
• Manage user access and oversee environment changes, including limitations between test and production environments
• Support and enhance SOX 404 compliance programs using AuditBoard and related tools
• Partner with IT, Risk, Compliance, and business teams to optimize workflows and automate control testing
• Oversee ERP controls for systems such as SAP, Oracle, and NetSuite, ensuring alignment with GRC processes
• Utilize data analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and advanced Excel to assess control effectiveness and support reporting
• Provide technical leadership and governance for the AuditBoard platform, ensuring performance, integrity, and compliance
• Drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives across GRC processes
• Communicate program status, risks, and remediation efforts to executive leadership
• Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders on system upgrades, issue resolution, and enhancements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Proven experience supporting public company SOX 404 compliance programs
• Hands-on experience implementing or managing audit technology platforms, specifically AuditBoard (SOXHUB, OpsAudit, RiskOversight)
• Strong understanding of operational auditing and Risk Control Matrix (RCM) development
• Experience with ERP controls across SAP, Oracle, and NetSuite
• Solid knowledge of IT General Controls (ITGC)
• Proficiency with data analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel
• Familiarity with GRC frameworks and regulatory standards
