Manager Human Resources
As a Human Resource Manager, you will be accountable for high-level consulting, problem diagnosis, and solution development in support of core agency goals and objectives. This role is responsible for the development, delivery, and alignment of Human Resource practices to benefit the broader agency through promotion, communication, and implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Develop effective working relationships with agency Leadership team as a trusted advisor and partner who influences organizational design, talent assessment and workforce planning aligned with agency strategy and initiatives
- Support the development and implementation of strategies and practices in support of the agency's business plans in the areas of leadership development, workforce planning, compensation, talent and performance management, organization change management, employee engagement, retention and talent acquisition with a foundational focus on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.
- Participate or lead Human Resource projects, relying on critical business acumen
- Use data and other relevant information to assess and provide the business relevant information to help make informed decisions to move the agency forward align to our strategy and initiatives
- Maintain in depth knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment as it relates to employment laws to evaluate and resolve complex employee relations issues and reduce potential risk to the business
- Consistently demonstrate high standards of integrity by supporting mission and values, adhering to the Code of Conduct and Hillside Professional competencies.
- Maintain high regard for privacy in accordance with the corporate privacy policies and procedures.
- Able to formulate strategic concepts, theories and opinions and execute on them
- Practice sound judgment and sound leadership along with the ability to work independently
- Demonstrated analytical skills, workforce planning, creative use of people practices to add value to the agency
- Ability to perform a variety of complicated tasks whereby wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
- Ability to adapt and be resilient to change

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
- 5 + years of related work experience (some management or operational experience is a plus)
- Demonstrated skill in conflict resolution, decision making, influence, interpersonal relations, oral communication, problem solving, results orientation, systems thinking, written communication, multi-tasking, prioritization, group presentations, group facilitation and project management
- Working knowledge of current people policies and practices, employment law, coaching and mentoring
$ 66,144.00 Minimum Rate per year, $110,240.00 Maximum Rate per year, based on experience.
