About Our Client

Our client is a high profile, multi asset organization operating in the development, leasing, and retail real estate space. The platform combines large scale real estate development with experiential retail and consumer facing operations, supported by a sophisticated ownership structure and long term growth strategy.They are seeking a Senior Vice President, Finance to lead the finance function and act as a strategic partner to executive leadership. This role will oversee financial strategy, planning, controls, and performance management across a complex, multi entity environment.

Job Description

Reporting directly into the local leadership, with a dotted line into the functional accounting leadership overseas, this role's main duties and responsibilities include the following:

• Serve as a strategic finance partner to the executive team, supporting long term planning and value creation
• Lead all aspects of financial management including reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow planning
• Oversee accounting, controllership, and internal controls across multiple legal entities
• Drive timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
• Lead annual budgeting and reforecasting processes, partnering with operations, development, and leasing teams
• Provide financial insight and analysis to support leasing decisions, capital investments, and development initiatives
• Oversee treasury, liquidity management, and cash forecasting activities
• Act as senior point of contact for auditors, tax advisors, lenders, and external stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, tax, and statutory reporting requirements
• Build, lead, and develop a high performing finance and accounting team
• Continuously improve financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities.

This is a HYBRID role between in-office 3 days/ week (Elmont, NY) and 1 to 2 days/ week REMOTE.

The Successful Applicant

In return for a competitive remuneration package, the successful candidate will possess the following:

• Bachelor's degree
• CPA, MBA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred
• Significant leadership experience within finance, ideally as Head of Finance, VP Finance, or similar
• Prior experience in real estate, development, retail, hospitality, or complex multi entity businesses
• Deep understanding of financial controls, reporting, and governance
• Proven ability to partner with senior executives and influence business decisions
• Strong track record of leading teams in fast paced, operationally complex environments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• High level of discretion, judgment, and professionalism
