Driver

Location: The location for this position is College Point, NY

Onsite: This role requires associates to work from the posted locations full-time, enabling consistent face-to-face collaboration, teamwork, and direct engagement. This policy promotes an environment built on in-person interaction, communication, and immediate support. Alternate locations may be considered.

The Driver is responsible for timely and accurate delivery services and supporting departmental goals.

How you will make an impact:

• Drives to various locations transporting materials, mail, patients, family members, and/or prescriptions.

• Maintains vehicles and accurate up-to-date records such as transportation logs, vehicle maintenance logs, incident and accident reports, inventory and fuel purchases.

• May provide assistance with company sponsored events, activities, and residencies.

• May participate in event set-up and break-down which could include loading and unloading of materials and equipment.

• May provide assistance in a mail room or warehouse.

• Complies with the company's confidentiality policies and procedures, as well as any local state or federal laws governing patient information/data.

• Participates in meetings, trainings and in-service education as required.

Minimum Requirements

• H.S. diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 1 year of driving experience.

• Requires a valid driver's license.

• Medical examiners certificate confirming the passing of a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam as required by a state or if a state contract in which the associate will be driving is required for RV drivers.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences

• Experience driving a commercial vehicle and previous experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.

• CDL preferred.

• Urban driving experience preferred.

For candidates working in person or virtually in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $18.00/hr to $27.00/hr.
